My story, still unfolding
Finding My Voice
A one-image digital story by Xanthe Golenko
I am, at my core, a curious, creative, and caring being.
I am guided by a deep need for freedom to make my own choices, to shape how I spend my time, and to move through the world with space to explore, to understand, to experience, to learn, and to share. I am constantly seeking meaning, weaving together what I discover and offering it back in connection with others.
I care deeply for those close to me, and equally for those whose voices are unheard, overlooked, or silenced. There is something in me that feels called to create space where others can be seen, heard, and supported to grow. When I do this, something reciprocal unfolds. As others expand, I expand. As others find their voice, I feel more fully aligned with my own.
This is what brings me joy - a quiet, grounded sense of purpose and fulfillment that comes from being part of something greater than myself.
This was written during the Third Act Quest Retreat in Santa Fe, April 2026, as part of a workshop with Laurie Crawford, Writing the Bio Your Soul Would Write.
My paintings are a form of storytelling . Visual narratives that capture emotion, memory, identity, and lived experience beyond words. Through my art, I explore the many dimensions of women’s identity, strength, vulnerability, resilience, power, and transformation. Each piece is an expression of presence and emotion, reflecting both personal and collective experiences of womanhood. I invite you to engage with the beauty, complexity, and enduring spirit that shape feminine identity.
